School Report on a Famous Person

Each person in Anne's 5th grade class had to chose a famous person to report on and portray for an audience. She chose Martha Graham, founder of Modern Dance. She wrote a speech, made a display board and dressed as Martha for her presentation. It was flawless. Her hard work paid off, as well as Mom's quick costume creation.

Dance Recital May 2010

Anne danced a jazz routine to Miley Cyrus "Party in the USA".

She did a beautiful job. When she is on stage, she just lights up. We were so proud of her!

Cat Toy April 2010

Jif grabbed one of Anne's stuffed animals from her room and dragged it downstairs. Turns out it was one of Cricket's favorite animals to pounce on...a cat.

Jif was not going to let Cricket have any part of the action.

First swim of the season April 2010

After a really cold Spring, the pool finally warmed up. We had to try out the new pool toy, The Wave Rocker.

Of course Cricket had to be in on the action too.

Big Brother took a dip but not for long. Too cold for him.

Houston Rodeo March 2010

Anne's good friend Leah invited us to the Houston Rodeo.

The actual rodeo wasn't a big prority for the girls when there were RIDES.....

The stadium was packed with a record setting audience of screaming girls. They were in heaven!

Coach Jack

This Spring Jack got to coach a group of 5th grade boys in football. They would practice after school once a week then have games on the weekends. He did a great job!
